Spoiler alert: Bachelorette Rachel Lindsay is the proud new owner of a Neil Lane diamond.
The star of the show’s 13th season confirmed that she is, in fact, engaged, People reports. “I am very much so in love and very much so engaged,” Lindsay shared during a press phone call on Thursday. “I am getting my happy ending!” Though Lindsay’s season doesn’t start until May 22, viewers now know for sure that it will end in a proposal—but the identity of lucky man will remain a mystery until the finale.
The big news comes just one day after ABC revealed the list of Lindsay’s 31 suitors, who include a pro-wrestler, a “whaboom” (whatever that is), and a “tickle monster.” There are also men from more traditional professional backgrounds—like a marketing consultant, a lawyer, and a doctor—though it’s anyone’s bet who will earn himself the top spot in Lindsay’s heart.
Lindsay earned her spot as The Bachelorette after vying for Nick Viall’s heart on the last season of The Bachelor and coming in third place behind runner-up Raven Gates and Viall’s current fiancé, Vanessa Grimaldi. She’s the first ever woman of color to take on the role and proved last season that she’s got the entire package of beauty, brains, and charisma—any one of the 31 men would be lucky to have her.
Shortly after Lindsay was announced as this season’s leading lady, she appeared on the late-night TV circuit to share what she was searching for in a partner. “I’m ready to find love, find a husband, so you if you know anybody out there who needs to apply, sign up, go ahead, and get started,” she joked to Jimmy Kimmel. “I’m looking for someone who’s looking for what I’m looking for…[someone who] can make me laugh.”
If that’s the case, then our money’s on the tickle monster.
